Chinese health authority said on Tuesday it received reports of six new confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland on Monday, among which three were domestically contracted and three were imported.
The Chinese mainland registered no deaths and one suspected case on Monday.
According to the National Health Commission, 81 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery, while the number of severe cases decreased by two to 50.
As of Monday, the mainland had reported a total of 1,639 imported cases. Of the cases, 1,087 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery and 21 were in severe condition, said the commission.
Also on Monday, 40 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland, including three imported ones. The commission said 997 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation, including 130 from abroad.
