Chinese mainland reported 64 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, including 21 domestically transmitted and 43 imported, the National Health Commission said Friday.

Of the locally transmitted cases, 18 were reported in Jiangsu, two in Hunan and one in Beijing, the commission said in its daily report.

Of the imported cases, 21 were reported in Yunnan, nine in Guangdong, seven in Shanghai, three in Fujian, one each in Liaoning, Shandong and Sichuan, the commission said.

There were 932 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Thursday. No deaths related to the disease were reported, while 19 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 92,875 and the cumulative death toll was 4,636 as of Thursday.
