Chinese mainland reports three new COVID-19 cases

Chinese health authorities on Saturday said that three new COVID-19 cases were reported on the Chinese mainland on Friday, of which one was local transmissions and two imported, with no additional deaths.

The local transmission was registered in Beijing, the National Health Commission said in its daily report.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stands at 83,545 and the cumulative death toll at 4,634, with 98 asymptomatic patients under medical observation.
