A medical team of 10 experts dispatched by the Chinese government left for Russia to help fight against the COVID-19 at its invitation on Saturday morning.
Selected by the Health Commission of China’s Heilongjiang Province, the team was established by the National Health Committee. The experts will share their experiences and guidance on pandemic prevention and control with Russia.

The experts will also hold a video meeting with delegates of Chinese enterprises, Chinese students and overseas Chinese in Russia. The experts will explain how to prevent and control the pandemic and distribute medical supplies in the meeting.

A batch of medical supplies will also be donated by the Chinese government to Russia with the team, including medical masks, N95 masks and medical protective clothing.
The Consul General of Russia in north China’s Harbin expressed gratitude to China on behalf of Russia.
The team leaves for Russia by air.
