Foreseeing rapid tourism growth during the five-day holiday, the traffic management bureau of MPS warned that there are road accident risks due to bad weather, including fog and rain, in some areas.

Demanding efforts to rectify safety hazards, the bureau ordered local police to maintain traffic order around scenic spots and reduce traffic congestions.

The bureau also required strengthened publicity on road safety, and efforts to prevent severe traffic accidents.

This year's May Day holiday will last from May 1 to 5. Enditem
