Prosecutors in central China's Hunan Province have approved the arrest of the suspect who mowed down pedestrians with an SUV and then attacked people with a shovel and dagger in Hengdong County in the province on Wednesday night.

The arrest of the 54-year-old Yang Zanyun was approved for endangering public safety by dangerous means.
