BEIJING, May 15 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.18 percent higher at 2,875.45 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.48 percent to end at 11,014.4 points at midday.
