BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.39 percent to 3,367.21 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.6 percent to end at 13,771.96 points at midday.
