BEIJING, July 25 (Xinhua) - Chinese stocks opened mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index staying unchanged from previous close at 2,923.19 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.01 percent lower at 9,265.31 points.

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.06 percent to open at 1,552.85 points Thursday.
