JERUSALEM, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The number of novel coronavirus cases in Israel has risen to 1,656, the Israeli Ministry of Health said Tuesday.

According to the ministry, 31 patients are in serious condition and 47 in moderate condition.

Also, 652 patients are treated in home quarantine, 161 in hotels that were converted into treatment facilities and 49 have recovered.
