A construction site has collapsed in Guiyang City, southwest China's Guizhou Province, trapping nine people underneath.

Up to now, three people have been successfully rescued and sent to the hospital for treatment.  

The incident happened at around 4:21 pm local time on Monday, rescue work and an investigation into the collapse are currently underway.
