The cultural industry contributed 4.2 percent to the country’s GDP last year, 0.06 percentage higher than in 2016, National Bureau of Statistics data on Wednesday shows.

The cultural sector and related industries have been growing steadily and have played an important role in the country’s shift to a more sustainable growth model.
