Death toll from avalanche in southwest China's Tibet rises to 20

The death toll from the avalanche on Tuesday in the city of Nyingchi in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has risen to 20 as of 12:30 p.m. on Friday, according to local authorities.

A search and rescue operation for the eight missing is still underway.
