Villagers in Zhuqiao township in Xuancheng, East China’s Anhui Province have found a special way to prosperity.
Utilizing the water resources, they have developed aquaculture, tourism and boat tour e-commerce.
On the rowing boats, the villagers live-stream and promote local agricultural products to a national audience while showing the breathtaking landscapes.
By building a town of “sculling boats” and organizing cultural events featuring the boat, Zhuqiao is prospering.
