Fifteen train passenger coaches were loaded onto ships at Tianjin Port on Thursday and will be exported to Chittagong, Bangladesh.

They are the first coaches China has exported to Bangladesh, according to CRRC Tangshan Co, the manufacturer in Tangshan, Hebei province.

The 15 coaches, with a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour, are expected to be used in the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project in Bangladesh in 2023, the group said.

The 170-km rail line over the bridge is under construction and will connect the county's capital, Dacca, with Jessore, an important rail line linking Myanmar with India in the future.
