Citizens take on the Hot Bucket Challenge to beat the heat in Chongqing

On July 7, a water park in Chongqing, held the Hot Bucket Challenge, which encouraged people to experience "adding fuel to the fire" in the sweltering heat of summer. At the event, large plastic buckets were filled with various types of chili peppers ranging from super-hot to slightly spicy. Visitors received a gift from the event's organizers if they dared to soak in the chili water for five minutes.
