A video of a 6-year-old girl interpreting to customers for her father Hu Yong, a deaf-mute pedicurist, has recently gone viral on Chinese social media.

Hu Yong and Peng Feng, who are both deaf and mute, run a pedicure shop in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.

When the couple has difficulties communicating with customers, their daughter Niuniu, born without disabilities, helps them around the clock during weekends and holidays.

Niuniu learned sign language from her father at 2 years old.

"Although the family's economic condition is not good, every family member shares the responsibility," Hu Yong's brother Hu Hai was quoted as saying by Chinese media.

Niuniu said she hoped her parents' business would improve and they could earn more money. In that way, her parents wouldn't have to work so hard, she said.

"My father always taught me to be diligent," Niuniu said. "My father is different from other people's fathers, but he is the best father."
