Military official investigated for suspected violations of discipline, duty crime

The rumors that Qian Weiping, deputy director of China Central Military Commission’s equipment development department, was involved in espionage are not true. Qian was investigated by the Central Military Commission’s Discipline Inspection Commission for suspected violations of discipline and duty crime, according to Wu Qian, spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense.
