Hosted by the People's Daily and undertaken by the People's Daily New Media Center, the "My China Style" global short video contest has come to a successful end.
Among 19,000 entries, the video "Much more to discover about China" which explores the Xijiang Miao Village, the country's largest Miao ethnic minority village, won first prize.
The second prizes went to three works: "A Bank for Time," a story of Chongqing memory, "Mints in Memory," a short documentary focusing on traditional craftsmen and "Children who grew up abroad also have bonds with China," which featured sugar painting.
Five other entries including “The road to school” and “China in Song” came in third.
