50 Mongolian first-aid workers receiving training in N China

HOHHOT, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- A total of 50 Mongolian first-aid workers started to receive training Wednesday in Hohhot City, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The workers will undergo training on emergency rescue operations and knowledge about the Red Cross movement in the city, and will take field trips and conduct practical training in the cities of Erdos and Erenhot in the region during the six-day training event.

The event was jointly launched by the region's branch of the Red Cross Society of China (RCSC) and its Mongolian counterpart, which initiated a project in April for training 60 Mongolian first-aid workers annually in the region.
