The newly built dock is the first of its kind, incorporating state-of-the-art technology including the Beidou Navigation Satellite System, 5G, artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. It used domestic technology at all stages from building equipment to systems development.

The dock has four berths with a displacement of 100,000 tons. It is designed to handle an annual throughput of 4,900,000 TEU containers.
