All logistics may temporarily be delayed amid Shanghai’s recent staggered lockdown against the new viral spike, according to a local logistics company.

Some residential areas in Shanghai are sealed off during the city's two-phase mass COVID-19 testing, with different requirements for picking up and delivering mail in each area, and may cause the temporarily delay, the Shanghai Post Administration said Thursday.

The Shanghai municipal government on Tuesday announced 21 measures to help enterprises affected by COVID-19 emerge from the pandemic. Food deliveries and express delivery personnel can travel normally with their work permits.

Shanghai tested more than 8.26 million residents in a new round of nucleic acid testing on Monday.
