Chinese mainland reports 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases

The Chinese mainland reported 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Sunday, all of which were imported cases, the National Health Commission said on Monday.

Of new imported cases, three were detected in Yunnan, two each in Shanghai and Sichuan, and one each in Jiangsu, Fujian, Guangdong and Shaanxi, the commission said in its daily report.

No deaths related to the disease were reported, while eight COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 90,599 and the cumulative death toll was 4,636 as of Sunday.
