Dongning in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province reported one new confirmed COVID-19 case on Thursday. The patient, surnamed Kong is a 40-year-old company employee from Taihe, Central China’s Anhui Province.

Mudanjiang and Dongning city activated a third-level public health emergency response for the COVID-19 epidemic after the case was reported. Now epidemiological survey, disinfection, nucleic acid testing and close contact tracking is underway.
