The Chinese mainland reported 1,366 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, including 1,301 domestically transmitted and 65 imported, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Friday.

Of the new local cases, 1,110 were reported in Jilin, 27 in Shanghai, 25 in Tianjin, 24 in Hebei, 23 each in Heilongjiang and Jiangxi, 17 in Fujian, 13 in Shandong, 12 in Jiangxi, 10 in Henan, nine in Liaoning, four each in Guangdong and Gansu, three each in Zhejianag, Yunnan and Shaanxi and one each in Hunan, Guizhou and Anhui, according to the report.

There were 26,892 active cases on Chinese mainland as of Thursday, with 50 in critical conditions. No deaths related to the disease were reported.

The total number of confirmed cases on the Chinese mainland stood at 140, 651, with the death toll unchanged at 4,638.
