The second phase of the 136th Canton Fair concluded on Sunday, showcasing a diverse array of sophisticated home products under the theme "Quality Home Living."
Running from October 23 to 27, the second phase was organized into three sections: building materials and furniture, household items, and gifts and decorations, each matching the scale of a major professional exhibition.
The setup facilitated one-stop specialized purchasing, improved the efficiency of supplier-buyer matching, and promoted industry cooperation and development, creating more business opportunities.
This phase featured 15 exhibition areas, with over 24,700 booths and 10,000 exhibitors, 220 more than the previous edition.
Alongside its scale, the second phase placed a special focus on high-quality specialized enterprises. More than 2,300 outstanding exhibitors, including "little giant" enterprises, national manufacturing champions, and high-tech enterprises, participated, an increase of 872 compared to the last session.
The fair's online platform also saw significant improvement in participation. By October 21, nearly 1.59 million products had been uploaded for the second phase, the highest number among all phases. This included 429,000 new products, 305,000 green and low-carbon products, and 48,000 smart products, indicating a notable rise from the last edition.
The third phase of the fair is set to commence on October 31 with the theme "Beautiful Life," featuring lifestyle consumer products such as home textiles, apparel, luggage, food, and sports and recreational items.
Canton Fair is organized twice a year, every spring and autumn, each divided into three phases
