North China's Tianjin Municipality is putting residents' travel needs first, with a citywide push to improve roads and bridges for safer, smoother journeys.
In the urban core, 15 roads, 15 bridges, overpasses and tunnels, as well as 20 damaged pedestrian paths, will be repaired. Five pedestrian bridges will receive new canopies, making daily commutes more comfortable and secure.
Meanwhile, rural roads are also set to be upgraded: 216 km of village roads will be improved, and 17 bridges will be repaired, greatly enhancing connectivity across towns and villages.
From major city streets to quiet country lanes, from tunnels to footpaths, every upgrade will bring care and comfort to residents, making life in Tianjin easier, safer and happier!
