Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at a regular news briefing when asked to comment on Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene's recent statement that her country's 2021 decision to host a "Taiwanese representative office" was a strategic mistake.
Lin stated China's position on bilateral relations and emphasized its consistent openness to dialogue with Lithuania. China hopes that Lithuania will translate its desire to improve bilateral relations into concrete action and cultivate conditions for the normalization of relations between China and Lithuania.
