Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks at a routine press conference in Beijing.
The spokesperson highlighted the recent round of trilateral talks among Ukraine, the US and Russia, stressing that "dialogue is the only way out of the crisis." She also expressed hopes that the relevant parties seize the opportunity to reach a comprehensive, lasting and binding peace deal.
"China is willing to work along with the international community to continue to play a constructive role in the political settlement of the crisis," Mao said.
