"The scenery here is breathtaking and the Chinese New Year vibe feel so warm and inviting," said visitor Wang Hao, capturing the sentiment of many attendees.

The event, set against the backdrop of Langshan's UNESCO World Heritage-listed Danxia sandstone landforms, offered visitors a chance to experience the rich cultural traditions of the Chinese New Year.

Activities included a folk market with handmade snacks, cured meats and other regional specialties, as well as interactive demonstrations of sugar painting and rice wine brewing: both integral to the area's intangible cultural heritage.

As evening fell, dragon and lion dances filled the streets, culminating in a dazzling fireworks display that illuminated the night sky.

The event merged the stunning natural beauty of Langshan with traditional Chinese customs, offering an immersive cultural experience that showcased both local heritage and holiday spirit.

"Walking around the market, enjoying local food and watching the dragon dances, it's truly full of the Chinese New Year spirit," said resident Zhou Yanlin, who attended with her family.
