Northwest China's Qinghai Province, one of the country's key ecological regions, is restoring nature and wildlife on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau through steady work during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025). Species like the Tibetan antelope have improved from endangered to near threatened, and snow leopards are now listed as vulnerable.

Behind this progress are real actions: more than 800 ecological issue leads checked and handled, land restored after mining rights exits, and ecological assessments carried out in national nature reserves. Step by step, Qinghai is strengthening the ecological shield of the plateau and protecting harmony between people and nature.

A healthy ecosystem is one of the most inclusive public benefits. Qinghai is protecting its lush mountains and lucid waters and turning them into lasting wellbeing for its people.
