China on Thursday urged the US to stop interfering in China's internal affairs, cease assisting Taiwan's so-called "diplomatic allies" and halt sending wrong signals to separatist forces.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a routine press briefing in Beijing in response to the US remarks over Taiwan leader Lai Ching-te's so-called "temporarily delayed" tout visit to Eswatini.
"The US has wantonly criticized China's legitimate moves to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity and unjustly blamed relevant countries for upholding the one-China principle, which is a complete distortion of confusing right and wrong and confounding black and white," Guo said. "China urges the US to strictly abide by the one-China principle and the three China-US joint communiques, stop interfering in China's internal affairs under the pretext of the Taiwan question, stop helping Taiwan consolidate its so-called 'diplomatic allies,' and stop sending wrong signals to the 'Taiwan independence' separatist forces."
