In recent years, under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Putin, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination for a new era has developed healthily, steadily, and in-depth, with cooperation in various fields continuously expanding. This has brought tangible benefits to both countries and their people, and has also made important contributions to maintaining global strategic stability and international fairness and justice, Guo said.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Russia strategic partnership of coordination, the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China-Russia Treaty of Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation, and the launch of the "China-Russia Years of Education."
"The two sides will take this visit as an opportunity to continue to promote the development of China-Russia relations to a higher level, which will inject greater stability and positive energy into the world," Guo added.
Putin will pay his 25th state visit to China from May 19 to 20 at the invitation of Xi.
