Islamabad, (People's Daily) - Pakistan Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday evening said that Pakistan-China friendship has "never seen a moment of autumn" during the past 75 years and remains resilient through mutual trust, unwavering cooperation and shared aspirations.

Addressing a Pakistan-China cultural evening event held at the Pakistan-China Friendship Center to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, he said the friendship between Islamabad and Beijing has continued to flourish in the "season of spring" with every passing year.
The minister also stressed the importance of cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts in strengthening bilateral ties. "Economic corridors are built with concrete and steel, but the corridors of the future are built through hearts and minds," he remarked.
The Pakistan-China cultural evening event held by the Pakistan Information and Broadcasting Ministry attracted more than 1,000 people to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the two nations' relations through cultural performances, folk customs displays, and food tastings.
During the event, Ahsan Iqbal, along with Pakistan Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, presented a shield of Pakistan-China friendship to Chinese Chargé d'Affaires Mr. Shi Yuanqiang, marking 75 years of friendship, cultural harmony and strong bilateral ties.
