China rejected US export control measures and reiterated opposition to politicizing trade and technology issues at a foreign ministry press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday.

"China has consistently opposed the US overstretching the concept of national security and abusing export control tools such as the entity list to contain and suppress Chinese companies," Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Lin Jian said. "The US should stop politicizing, instrumentalizing and weaponizing economic, trade and technological issues."
