China has built the world's largest healthcare system. There are over 1.33 billion participants in basic medical insurance, with stable national coverage rate at 95%. There are more than 1.1 million medical and health institutions nationwide, with hospital beds at 10.09 million and health professionals at 13.4 million.

China has contributed to safeguarding global public health security. It has dispatched more than 30,000 medical workers to 77 countries and regions and provided treatment to 300 million patients, according to the white paper titled "More Just and Equitable Global Governance: China's Principles, Proposals and Actions."
