BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Zhuohua, a senior political advisor of central China's Hunan Province, is under supervisory investigation, an official statement said Friday.

Zhang, vice chairperson of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, is being investigated by the National Commission of Supervision for suspected severe violations of laws, the statement said.
