China's homegrown C919 aircraft to serve first international route

BEIJING, July 18 (Xinhua) -- China's domestically developed large passenger aircraft, the C919, will begin its international service on Aug. 12, Air China has announced.

The route operated by Air China will connect Beijing and Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, with one round-trip flight per day.
The outbound flight departs from Beijing Capital International Airport at 3:00 p.m. and arrives in Ulaanbaatar at 5:15 p.m. The return flight leaves Ulaanbaatar at 6:30 p.m. and lands in Beijing at 8:35 p.m.
