On July 15, the Shanghai Boeing Aviation Modification and Maintenance Engineering Co, Ltd delivered Myway Airlines's second Boeing 777-200ER passenger aircraft to the Georgia-based carrier. The milestone marks a further step forward in the operational capabilities and service standards of Georgia's first airline to operate large wide-body aircraft.

Liu Zhengliang, president of Myway Airlines, said, "The addition of this new aircraft will further enhance transportation capacity between China and Georgia and serve as a bridge for Chinese companies expanding into overseas markets."

Established in June 2016, Myway Airlines is an airline registered in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, with Chinese investors and management involved in its operations. In 2018, the airline obtained an air operator certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia. In September 2021, it launched Georgia's first cargo route to China. The airline has since obtained multiple international operating qualifications and is now capable of providing international passenger and cargo transportation services to multiple countries and regions across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

According to the company, Myway Airlines plans to expand its wide-body fleet to 10 aircraft by 2030, with the goal of becoming a preferred partner in the international charter flight and aircraft leasing sectors, while contributing to the economic and trade development of countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
