BEIJING, July 24 (Xinhua) -- China opposes unilateral tariff measures of any form, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said on Friday in response to the U.S. announcement of tariff hikes on 60 trade partners.

Spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks at a daily press briefing, adding tariff wars and trade wars are not in the interests of any party.
