The new Chinese legal drama series Forging Justice ("Zhong Qi" in Chinese) officially premiered nationwide on August 10, with synchronized broadcasts on CCTV-8 and mainstream streaming platform iQiyi.
Set against the backdrop of China's evolving legal system, the series follows real-world cases that trace the country's progress in developing the rule of law, highlighting the dedication of legal practitioners navigating the tides of social transformation.

Filmed across multiple locations in Sichuan Province and Chongqing, both in southwest China, the drama meticulously recreates the authentic urban and rural landscapes of China in the 1980s and 1990s, and real case investigations. This period piece is supported by Chengdu Culture & Tourism Development Group's well-established film-tourism integration model.
The group has led the formation of a film-tourism alliance across Sichuan's 21 cities and prefectures, offering coordinated filming services and full-production support for production crews coming to the province.
Three new consumer brand fairs were also launched to turn drama viewership into tourism spending, guiding audiences from "watching the show" to "visiting Sichuan" and further to "buying local products."
