Beijing Guoan claimed its fourth consecutive win in the Chinese Super League, after beating Shanghai Shenhua 3-0 on the road on Tuesday.

Guilherme Ramos opened the scoring in the 42nd minute. After Sai Erjiniao sent a pass into the box, Ramos saw his initial header saved by goalkeeper Xue Qinghao, but converted the rebound to give Beijing a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Shanghai created several opportunities to equalize, but Guoan goalkeeper Hou Sen repeatedly denied the hosts. He finished the match with eight saves as the home side failed to convert any of its 21 attempts.

Beijing doubled its advantage in the 73rd minute when Fabio Abreu set up Cao Yongjing, who completed a swift counterattack to make it 2-0.

Zhang Xizhe closed out the 3-0 victory in the 86th minute, with Zhang Yuning setting up his strike after taking the ball into the box.

The triumph extended Guoan's unbeaten run to 11 matches across all competitions and lifted the Capital Club to second place in the CSL with 35 points from 23 matches.

Shenhua, meanwhile, remained 10th on goal difference with 25 points from 23 games after suffering a tough defeat in new coach Vladan Milojevic's first game in charge.
