Senior residents at the Shushan Healthcare Center, an elderly care center in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, sometimes misunderstand one another during daily conversations because of their advanced age. These moments inspired Shen Wanting, a post-95 nurse, and five colleagues of similar age to create micro dramas featuring these elderly residents and their daily lives at the center.

Five senior residents, whose average age is over 80, are regular cast members, and the oldest is over 90.
