BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Longchang City, southwest China's Sichuan Province, at 1:13 p.m. Friday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 29.23 degrees north latitude and 105.22 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 13 km.
