China, in accordance with all laws and regulations, prohibits the export of all dual-use items to Japanese military users and for Japan's military use, and any export that could help enhance Japan's military capabilities, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun stated on Monday.

The spokesperson made the remarks at a regular press conference in response to a question regarding China's export controls on certain dual-use items.

He noted that the aim is to prevent Japan's "remilitarization" and its attempts to acquire nuclear weapons.

China's position on safeguarding the stability and security of the global supply chain for critical minerals remains unchanged, and all parties share the responsibility of playing a constructive role in this regard, he noted.
