China, EU should resolve concerns through dialogue, consultation, says Chinese FM

China and the European Union (EU) are comprehensive strategic partners and should not fight a trade war, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Monday.

In a phone conversation with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said that China has consistently maintained that China and the EU should work in the same direction and resolve each other's concerns through dialogue and consultation.
