Chinese premier to attend 140th Canton Fair opening ceremony, related events

BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Qiang will attend the opening ceremony and related events of the 140th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, and deliver a keynote speech, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce announced Monday.

The 140th edition of the Canton Fair will be held from Oct. 15 to Nov. 4 in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, said spokesperson He Yadong.
