Yongqing Fang lies in the heart of historic Xiguan in the Liwan district, where historic Guangzhou character is at its most striking. The destination links the Litchi Bay and Enning Road areas with five historic neighborhoods, preserving arcaded streets, Xiguan mansions, bamboo-tube houses, ancient temples, banyan trees and the Litchi Bay waterway. Time-honored restaurants sit beside studios for Cantonese opera and Lingnan crafts such as the three carvings, colored glaze and embroidery. Seasonal temple fairs, dragon-boat scenes and water flower markets keep this living heritage district active, making it a natural place to experience Guangzhou's local culture at the street level.
