China's global efforts in cardiovascular care

In July 2025, renowned cardiovascular expert Academician Wang Jian'an brought his team to Türkiye. Hand in hand with local doctors, he is bringing new hope to patients with complex heart conditions all thanks to an array of China-developed cardiac devices. But beyond the all-important mission of saving lives, this cross-border medical collaboration has another significance: as a bridge of innovation and compassion — a literal "journey of the heart" connecting China and Türkiye.
