China urged the United States to immediately stop its blockade and all forms of coercion against Cuba and cease violating Cuban people's right to subsistence and development, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.
At a regular press briefing, spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks in response to a question about an arrest warrant issued by Florida's attorney general for Cuban revolutionary leader Raul Castro.
China has consistently opposed the abuse of judicial means to exert pressure on Cuba and firmly supports the country in safeguarding its national sovereignty and opposing external interference, Mao said.
